Undergraduate Admissions

Becoming a student at UNO is quick and easy. Below are links related to your specific educational status. Select one for more information.

Freshman Student - A first-time college student with a high school diploma (or equivalent) who has never attended a college after graduation from high school.
Transfer Student - An undergraduate student entering UNO for the first time who has attended another college or other post-secondary institution after high school.
Former UNO Student - A student who has been previously enrolled at UNO as an undergraduate student after high school graduation.
Non-Degree / Visiting Student - A student who is not currently pursuing a degree at UNO but is interested in taking one or more classes during a semester (Note: Non-Degree Students are not eligible for financial aid.)
Nebraska System Student A student who is currently enrolled at another University of Nebraska campus who is interested in taking one or more classes at UNO.
Early Entry Student - A student who is still in high school attempting to enroll in UNO classes concurrently with their high school coursework.
